ifilm English to start airing new series ‘No.1 Tehran’

ifilm’s new series, ‘No.1 Tehran’, has been scheduled to go on air from March 26, 2019.

The series, directed by Mehdi Mazloumi, is a social comedy tinted with some urban issues in an apartment building.

The comic series ‘No. 1, Tehran’ is set in a multi-floored apartment building, portraying the daily lives of residents from differing social classes, and sometimes with extremely opposing views and lifestyles.

Despite all the tensions which arise from rudimentary problems of modern-day apartment life, the neighbors learn how to co-exist and enjoy what they have in common. 

The series cast list includes Arjang Amir-Fazli, Ashkan Khatibi, Mahtaj Nojoumi, Borzou Arjmand, Alireza Khamseh, Daryoush Moaddabian, Ali Aqaee, Nahid Moslemi, Marzieh Sadraee, and Shahrzad Abdolmajid.

‘No. 1, Tehran’, made in 2012, is scheduled to be the replacement for the series ‘A Share for a Friend’, which will be aired daily at 20:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00 (all GMT times). It is comprised of 30 episodes.
